Lauren Robertson is a undergraduate senior psychology major. She was accepted into the TURC (Tulsa Undergraduate Research Challenge) last January. As part of this program she has been working with Dr. Newman on her study, Student Life: Risky and Pro-Social Behavior. Lauren is currently applying to graduate school.River Smith
River is a 5th year doctoral student. Her research interests include the effects of work-related traumatic events on journalists psychological well-being, and resilience & psychological trauma.Sara Tiergreen
I am a doctoral student in my 3rd year of the program. Clinically, I am interested in working with adolescents and adults. I am learning more about the trauma field and plan to specialize in trauma-related work. I am particularly interested in DBT treatment with trauma survivors and the relationship between Borderline Personality Disorder and complex trauma. My current research interests include ways in which news framing and reporting impact readers, and resilience factors in trauma survivorsTracy Harrington
