Certificate in Legal Thought Directors Jeffrey Hockett Associate Professor of Political Science Advisory Board John Coward, Communication The certificate program in legal thought is intended for students who are interested in the study of law and legal institutions and their relationships to philosophy, politics, economics, and the social problems of crime and delinquency. Certificate Requirements Students must complete 21 hours of course work approved by one of the directors. Internships may substitute for one course.
